Touchstone GroupS

Bold Futures New Mexico thoughtfully engages and prioritizes the participation and recruitment of Black, Indigenous, Latine, people of color, and LGBTQ+ people who have a myriad of lived experiences that add immeasurably to power-building efforts in New Mexico. We ground our work in the reality that reproductive health and other social inequities disproportionately affect racially marginalized groups and, therefore, center the expertise of these community leaders.

Our partnership

Our touchstone groups are made up of women and people of color across the state who consistently inform and help lead our work while keeping us authentically rooted in our communities. We honor the time and expertise they share with us and equitably resource them for their contributions. Our community leaders are at the heart of our work and we are proud to follow their lead when developing and implementing our multifaceted approaches. This allows us to remain flexible and open to innovative ways to engage in change-making efforts. Our touchstone groups are at the core of our leadership development model and help to guide and inform our overall work.
