About Our Name Change
OUR NEW NAME, BOLD FUTURES, GIVES US SPACE TO BE OUR FULL SELVES.
For twenty-five years, we have worked to build reproductive justice in New Mexico by and for women and people of color. As we stepped into our 20th Anniversary, Young Women United wanted a name that reflected who we are today and where we are headed moving forward. We needed a name to better reflect our organizational power and position, and a name that would be thoughtfully inclusive of all the communities we work alongside. Leveraging our same innovative theory of change, we embrace our new identity: Bold Futures.
We will continue working to build communities where women, people, and families can live and thrive with respect and dignity. Thank you for believing in us, and for your continued support. Together we will boldly build a better future for all.
